Professional School Bus Driver Training
Welcome to the wonderful world of school bus driving where the safe transport of our children to and from school starts with you! As a professional school bus driver, you exemplify the same values for children as that of home and school. At Chester Elite Trans LLC we take safety very seriously. We are always looking for committed, engaged, and personable individuals to join our professional school bus driver training program. Your success is an important link in the education of children.
FOR THIS CHALLENGING AND REWARDING CAREER, THERE ARE SEVERAL DEDICATED STEPS YOU NEED TO TAKE
6 and 8 weeks
Overall the training will take between 6 and 8 weeks. If you’re capable and motivated, you can do it in less time, and we work closely with each trainee to monitor your progress and ensure you’re acquiring the knowledge and skills you need to be a top-notch school bus driver.
Monday to Friday
We schedule this training Monday to Friday with flexible weekends at our offices, to make it easy for you to fit it into your schedule. We use the additional time for company orientation and to make sure you are thoroughly informed about the job. You will learn the ELDT theories and rules of safe bus operation, as well as what to expect when interacting with children of all ages.
On-the-bus training
You will also receive on-the-bus training, as you get comfortable driving with our certified trainers. We take the time necessary for you to feel confident in your driving skills and provide all materials needed to pass the DMV road testing.
Our training is FREE and you will have guaranteed job placement upon receiving your Commercial Driver License - Class B
Our certified trainers are top notch and have a 100% pass rate.

Chester Elite Trans LLC and its staff stay up to date with the most current and proper student management and special transportation techniques & requirements. Our staff are required to participate in annual training and are provided access to programs and resource material in the interim. All candidates are required to pass DOT pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check. We also subject our drivers to random drug and alcohol testing.
